It's a big summer this year with Jason starting high school and a wedding to go to, etc. so planning camping trips in advance is tough. Finally, I decided to throw a trip on the calendar to get things started.
I've reserved site 42 at Pawtuckaway State Park on Horse Island. The great thing about this is since its so close to home 1) if any meetings come up for Jason's school we can leave and come back and 2) if Audra and Ilyssa want to stop by and hang they can and still go home and sleep in their beds. Having equipment and food are no concern as home and stores are very close by. Should be a low pressure trip.
Site 42 is a lakefront site with partial shade. Hopefully we can get some fishing in, some light hiking and the usual food and nightime card games. It looks like a great location, near water and showers.
Trip is planned for 8/21-23. Hopefully I can add more trips but at least one is on the calendar.
